Overhaul activated the LE Connect network, engaging law enforcement in Indianapolis and Shelbyville, Indiana.

Coordinated investigation:

• Device-enabled tracking data pinpointed the trailer at a secured facility.
• Overhaul’s Customer Success and LE Connect teams maintained constant communication with MODE Global, law enforcement, private security, and the trailer rental provider.
• A "lockdown geofence" was established around the trailer’s location.

Rapid recovery:

• Movement detected by the geofence triggered law enforcement action.
• Indiana State Police and Shelbyville PD intercepted the tractor-trailer.
• The vehicle was found running with no driver present; the shipment was fully intact.
• Law enforcement secured the load and transferred it to secure storage, with Overhaul ensuring proper documentation and chain-of-custody.

MODE Global and Overhaul’s concerted response safeguarded a shipment valued at approximately $500,000. With a program investment of $90,000, this resulted in a 550%+ ROI within just four months. Overhaul has monitored 800+ other shipments since program inception.

Considering the industry standard multiplier of 4x for true cost of loss, MODE’s customer risked a potential impact of ~$2 million, as well as gaining trust.

Thanks to coordinated efforts across three states between origin and destination (California, Indiana, Illinois) and collaboration with three law enforcement agencies (Pomona PD, Indiana State Police, and Shelbyville PD), the shipment was recovered 100% intact.
